Freeman Associates Investment Management LLC ("Freeman Associates") is an investment adviser registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. The firm was previously known as Investment Research Company ("IRC"). IRC was originally founded in 1985, incorporated in 1987 and from March, 1994 to January, 2001 was a wholly owned subsidiary of United Asset Management. In January, 2001 IRC, through a management buyout, became Freeman Associates, an independently owned and operated firm.
